Drop set
A drop set is a technique where, near failure, you immediately reduce the load and continue with more reps without rest.
In practice
It pushes the muscle beyond its normal fatigue point and is common for hypertrophy. Use it sparingly, usually on the last set of an exercise, because it is very fatiguing.
